Television shows have always been around even before the generation x was born. Surely, there are hundreds of TV series genres made for different personalities and age range of viewers. Most series are originally made as TV series while a fraction of it was a movie first before being made as a TV series. Nevertheless, they still get high ratings because people, especially the youth, spend their spare time binge-watching their favorite TV series after loooong hours of doing paper works and school assignments. Of course, getting high ratings is not only because of the number of viewers but also because of the amazing ideas of their writers.
